How Many Times Must I Clean the Same Mess

The problem with a mess is that it always comes back. No matter how many times it seems like I’ve cleaned up the same ash and soot in the fire pits, it just comes back. Whenever I scrub out the shower enclosures, more mildew grows right in the same spot. The bathroom shower is a notorious location in which filth returns and regrows quicker than I am honestly willing to clean. I still go at it though, combating the mess that resprouts every few days.
It’s no wonder that things are so hard to keep clean though when I have so many people running around the house every day. With the children, the pets, and all the friends and family coming in and out of here daily, the place is a mess on an almost daily basis. I could never keep up with everything on my own (luckily there are other people to pawn off some of the work on). Regardless, it is a bit of a chore and not one I relish. There was once a time I could clean once every two weeks and my apartment would still look nice and fresh – I almost miss those days.
